First doctor’s appointment in years. Nothing serious but just haven’t been. Blood work done. Now it’s time to eat!

I don’t need to be told that it’s counter productive to eat a slice of cake and then do a workout. My body tells me that’s the case. Ugggh…

I don’t know what I did (except to continue along the inexorable march towards death), but today I’ve had some severe pain in my hips and lower back. It didn’t help that I attempted to walk up a flight of stairs in a historic district in my home while also trying to carry a 15lb bag of dog food.

So to try and alleviate some of the discomfort, I turned to some trusty Apple Fitness+ workouts that I’ve done over the past few months. I didn’t realize until today that I could search their site and so I found these when I was looking for a few good stretches:

I found some nice stretches in one of the Yoga workouts with Jessica and they really helped. That and a warm compress and some ibuprofen.
